The 10th “Return to the Roots” Journey
From June 15 to 18, 2023, the MB Securities Joint Stock Company (MBS) organized the 10th “Return to the Roots” Journey with the participation of 31 members. This was not just a commemorative trip, but also a journey back to history, allowing each MBSer to understand, appreciate, and deepen their connection with the traditions of the nation – traditions built upon the blood, sweat, and tears of countless generations of forebears.
Over four emotionally charged days, the delegation visited and offered incense at historical sites closely associated with the golden pages of the resistance war against American imperialism:
- Truong Son Martyrs’ Cemetery
- Route 9 Martyrs’ Cemetery
- Quang Tri Citadel
- Thach Han River Martyrs’ Monument
- Bo De High School
- Dong Loc Junction
- General Vo Nguyen Giap’s Tomb at Vung Chua, Quang Binh
On each journey, every member of the delegation not only paid tribute but also relived a part of the heroic historical memories of the nation. The stories of resilience, courage, and the sacred camaraderie amidst the smoke of war deeply moved hearts, causing each step to slow down, become more thoughtful, and filled with gratitude.
The 10th “Return to the Roots” Journey not only provided an opportunity to learn about history but also allowed each MBSer to pause and reflect on the value of today’s life. Peace – something that seems so obvious – was earned through the youth, blood, and quiet sacrifices of countless individuals. This reminds us to live more slowly, deeply, and with greater responsibility toward ourselves, our families, society, and the nation.
The trip also served as a bridge for the members of the delegation to become closer, understand each other, and share with one another. Along the way, it was not only moments of emotion but also times of companionship and solidarity – qualities that define the spirit of MBS: unity, compassion, and responsibility.
With the 10th “Return to the Roots” Journey, MBS once again reaffirms its commitment to preserving and promoting the traditional values of “Drinking water, remembering its source,” seeing this as a solid foundation to continue expanding and ensuring sustainable development in the future. Each “Return to the Roots” journey does not end – it continues to spread, engraving itself in the hearts of every individual and becoming a smoldering flame that nurtures the spirit of dedication, gratitude, and the desire to soar with the nation.
