MBS supports families affected by the fire at the Khuong Ha mini apartment building
On the afternoon of September 19, 2023, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in Hanoi, Mrs. Phùng Thị Thanh Hà – Deputy General Director and Chairwoman of the MBS Trade Union, on behalf of the leadership and employees of MBS Securities Joint Stock Company, presented a donation of 208,780,000 VND (including 50,000,000 VND from the company and 158,780,000 VND from MBSers) to support the families affected by the fire at the Khương Đình mini apartment building in Thanh Xuân District, Hanoi.
Sharing with the VFF Hanoi, Mrs. Hà expressed her deep sympathy for the families affected by the tragedy. She conveyed the collective support from MBSers and the company, hoping to ease the pain and loss the families were experiencing. MBS also expressed its gratitude to the VFF Hanoi for being a bridge that allows organizations and individuals to contribute to supporting those in need and reiterated the company’s willingness to continue collaborating with the VFF in future charitable endeavors.
At the meeting, Mr. Phạm Anh Tuấn, Vice Chairman of the VFF Hanoi, expressed his sorrow over the tragic fire at Khương Hạ mini apartment and noted that people across the country were deeply shocked and moved by the losses. Many organizations and individuals nationwide had shown solidarity and compassion by offering support to the victims. Mr. Tuấn thanked MBS and its employees for their timely contribution, promising that the funds would be used effectively for the victims’ families. He also expressed hope that MBS would continue to accompany the VFF in social welfare activities.
