MBS donates kitchen to Sung Chang Kindergarten – Ha Giang
From January 28–30, 2024, the MBS Trade Union, in collaboration with the company’s Leadership, held an inauguration ceremony for a new kitchen at Sủng Cháng Preschool, located in Yen Minh District, Ha Giang Province—a remote highland area where the majority of residents are of the H’Mong ethnic group and living in difficult conditions.
After conducting an on-site survey in December 2023, it was observed that the school lacked a centralized kitchen, and students were forced to eat in the hallways, exposed to harsh weather conditions. In response, MBS decided to sponsor VND 161.9 million to build a spacious 50m² kitchen, equipped with separate areas for food preparation, cooking, and serving meals for all students across the school branches.
Ms. Phung Thi Thanh Ha – Deputy CEO and Chairwoman of the Trade Union – joined the MBS delegation in attending the inauguration and personally helped the school prepare the first meal for the children.
The new kitchen not only improves nutrition and food hygiene standards, but also contributes to enhancing the quality of care, education, and overall development for children in the highlands.
