MBS Continues the Journey of Love in Vinh Long – “Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2024”
Building on the success of the “Mid-Autumn Festival – Accompanying Children to School” program in Cao Bang, on September 14-15, 2024, the MBS Trade Union and MBS Youth Union represented the company in collaboration with the Social Work Team from the University of Economics, HCMC and local authorities to organize the “Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2024” in Cai Nhum Township, Mang Thit District, Vinh Long Province.
The program brought joy to over 1,000 children and helped improve the living conditions of local residents, in an area still facing challenges in transportation, clean water access, and social welfare.
MBS sponsored a total of 128 million VND, including:
- 60 million VND for the construction of a concrete road and rural lighting system
- 10 million VND for providing water filtration systems to two underprivileged households
- 1,000 Mid-Autumn gift packages containing soft drinks, candies, and snacks for children
- 20 scholarships for outstanding students overcoming hardships (1 million VND each)
- 10 gift packages for policy families and disadvantaged households (1 million VND each)
Mr. Le Thanh Nam, MBS’s Deputy CEO, and the team personally participated in the inauguration of the new road, presented gifts to the children and families, and shared the warmth and meaningful spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The “Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2024” in Vinh Long concluded with deep emotions and lasting impressions on everyone involved. The innocent smiles and bright eyes of the children were the greatest gift for the MBS team.
